The UK partners - Carmel Academy and edEUcation ltd. - have been busy finalising the English version of the training resources to be used by the schools that are willing to introducing support programmes for newly qualified teachers (NQT). They will help school management and teacher mentors in their induction and support work with NQTs or teachers who require additional support.
There are 6 Training Modules; each containing a set of additional resources to be used during the implementation of the module programme: M1: Developing an Initial Teacher Training Induction Package M2: Teaching and Learning M3: Behaviour for Learning and Special Educational Needs M4: Measuring Pupil Progress and Impact M5: Coaching and Mentoring M6: Assessment and accreditation of ITT and NQTs Each module comes with an Evaluation sheet which will allow the trainer leading the modules to assess the progress made by the trainees. We are very proud of this set of resources, freely accessible and usable by any school. Very soon these resources will be available also in Bulgarian, Greek, Lithuanian and Spanish.
Update 2
As part of Quality Assurance built into the T2TT project management, several training workshops were organised in teaching schools in England in order to train school leaders on using the T2TT training package and gather enough feedback on the usability of the project outcomes. The data come from discussions and interviews, as well as evaluation sheets filled in by the workshop participants from the following participating schools mostly from the Carmel Teaching Partnership. The evaluation covers all the 6 Training modules developed in the framework of this project. We have gathered both quantitative and qualitative data, which we have interpreted and used to improve the resources. The same evaluation process is going on in the partner countries and a common Evaluation report will be published before the end of the school year.
